APM PMQ Training Courses in Westminster, London

APMP logoThe APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ) (formerly known as APMP) is internationally recognised and is for those wishing to achieve a broad level of project management knowledge sufficient to participate in projects from individual assignments through to large capital projects.

The PMQ may be gained via one of two routes - either the full version or a reduced version for those who have a current PRINCE2 Practitioner qualification.  In each case, MSC candidates attend a classroom-based course or study on your own through either blended learning (including an examination workshop) or by distance learning (no workshop). Examinations are normally held in Westminster; candidates who wish to take the examination elsewhere are requested to contact the office to discuss arrangements.

The two essentials needed to pass the examination are:

  • to give much-needed time for study and revision before the examination, and
  • to understand the examiners requirement that the candidate's answers reflect both knowledge AND understanding.

Therefore our classroom-based courses are spread over three weeks - two days per week - to allow essential study time between sessions. The first four days cover the knowledge required by the syllabus; the fifth day is an examination workshop discussing what the examiners might mean by understanding.  The examination is on the afternoon of the sixth day.
